Research is Critical for the Oil Mallee Industry

Oil mallees have much to offer rural WA.  They provide opportunities for income diversification for farmers, protection of the environment and regional processing and employment.

As oil mallees evolve into a commercial crop, more research has become necessary.

The Oil Mallee Company is seeking to raise capital to carry out research in the critical areas of:

• Harvester development and transport systems

• Eucalyptus oil distillation

• Mallee production under commercial harvest  conditions

• Carbon credits.

The company is also seeking funds for development of:

• Appropriate contracts for investor funded plantings

• Mallee crop establishment services

• Markets for mallee products.
