NEWS RELEASE OIL MALLEE SEEDLING PRICES SET FOR 2002 Most mallee growers will pay a net price of 25 cents for their oil mallee seedlings to be planted in 2002. To achieve this low price, orders need to be placed promptly to ensure oil mallee accredited nurseries can grow quality seedlings. To equate the low price of 25 cents to the invoiced price, growers must recognise that the invoiced price is made up of a 27 cent seedling price, NHT and CALM support of 15 cents, and GST of 4 cents to total 43 cents. This year there is no additional charge for Association membership. Prompt action will ensure the best seedlings at the best price.
