Premium Plastics are located in Wangara, Western Australia and their prime business is the manufacture of a very comprehensive range of horticultural products.

For the past five years they have become very involved in the development and manufacture of a range of Seedling Trays that are totally suited to the Australian Forestry and Oil Mallee Industry.

All trays have been designed to suit Western Australia’s very harsh climate and are made from prime grade virgin materials with the finest U/V stabilisers.

The Premium Plastics seedling trays are manufactured in three configurations, which totally suit all aspects of growing Oil Mallee or Blue Gums etc.

For the grower who wishes to direct seed in to a plug tray we have our very strong injection moulded 512 Cell Plug Tray which has root trainers in each cell wall and is designed to encourage downward growth and air pruning of roots. The unique design of this tray totally prohibits root spiralling.

Especially for the oil mallee industry we have introduced our 64 Cell Side Slit Seedling Tray which again will not allow root spiralling. This tray is manufactured with deeper cells for superior root formation and has venting between cells for hygienic air transfer. All cells have state of the art root training and very strong popper holes for robotic planting.

The Premium Plastics 104 Cell "Universal" Seedling Tray is suitable for all species of forestry stock and every day propagation and seedling. It offers 104 healthy tubes per tray with strong popper holes, root trainers and side slits to promote air pruning and encourage downward growth. All above trays are made from the finest materials and can be reused for many seasons.

Unlike most of our competitors Premium Plastics are a West Australian owned company and no profits or royalties are sent offshore to Finland or Sweden.
